In order to support this great event, we are collecting gently used hockey gear from now until Saturday, April 6. Our collection bin is conveniently located at Ed Burns Arena next to the lost and found. You can drop donations off at any time. We are periodically emptying the bin to make sure there's room for your donation!

We will hold a gear swap starting at 3pm on April 7, just before the event, to help get participants kitted out with all of the donated gear. We are accepting donations of:

• Helmets

• Shoulder pads

• Elbow pads

• Gloves

• Shin Guards

• Skates

• Hockey pants

• Hockey socks

• AHC jerseys

Your donations help will lower the equipment barrier of entry for hockey athletes of all ages, for this Girls THFF event as well as other current and aspiring AHC participants. We're accepting donations for Ages 5 to 18.

On behalf of the AHC, thank you,

Paul Collins, Girls Travel Program Director

AHC Concludes Outdoor Game Series

Last night AHC concluded its outdoor series of games at the Jack Kirrane Rink in Brookline. This was the first year we were able to procure a number of game sheets at the rink so members could experience playing outdoors. Because we had a limited number of available times for the entire club, we distributed those to the older teams first, then offered them to younger teams if an older team couldn't use their time.

Last night the mites scrimmaged at 5:30PM and got to play for a longer time as the group coming in after them had cancelled and the rink let them play longer.

The final game of the series pitted AHC against Wellesley in a friendly scrimmage, starting at 8:30PM. Both teams skated hard, got a lot of ice time, and overall had a great time playing!
