UPDATE: Team Nathan - Supporting Our Hockey Family

Congratulations to Team Nathan and Nathan H., mite hockey player - for raising over $30,000 in the Geared Up for Kids fundraiser on June 3 to fight Pediatric Brain Tumors.  If you missed the event, there is still time to donate: - https://www.classy.org/team/159709.

Team Nathan

Nathan H.

==========================================

Please consider joining or donating to Team Nathan to support Mite hockey player, Nathan H.  Nathan has been battling a brain tumor since he was 4 years old. While undergoing chemo treatment during the season, Nathan never let on and never let it effect his energy, enthusiasm, effort or love for hockey.  His spirit and commitment to his teammates, coaches and to hockey is an inspiration and it is an honor to have him play as a member of the AHC program.

You can support Nathan in two ways in his fight against Pediatric Brain Tumors:

  1. Make an online donation to Team Nathan here: https://www.classy.org/team/159709

  2. Join Team Nathan  and ride or run at Geared Up for Kids on June 3 (Cutler Park in Needham, MA). This event is a family friendly charity bike ride or fun run with 10mi or 25mi bike rides or 5k walk/run.

    Nathan and family will ride in the 10mi bike ride then enjoy bounce houses, food, climbing walls, music and fun.  Sign up here: https://www.classy.org/team/159709

How your support will help:  In February, Nathan started an experimental drug on a clinical trial at Dana Farber.  The clinical trial and the research to support the trial was funded by Nathan’s family and families like theirs through Geard Up for Kids and the PMC.  They are looking to raise $800k this year through these events to keep the trial going.

Please join Team Nathan and bring your kids to support Nathan and their family in this fight.

Thank you.
