Good Luck Bantam AAA in the MA State Tournament!!

Good luck to AHC's Bantam AAA team in the MA State Tournament, which starts today at the New England Sports Center!!

To qualify for the tournament the Bantam AAA team won the District 9 Championship after defeating Belmont 12-2 in the District 9 semifinal, and beating a tenacious Lexington-Bedford team, 8-3. The LB game was much closer than the score indicated, starting off 2-2 in the second period before Arlington exploded for five straight goals, including two on the same shift.

The Bantams first game is tonight at 6:40PM against Braintree.  Tomorrow they'll finish their group play with games against Pembrook and Andover.  The top two teams move on to the semifinals, where they'll face the top two teams in the other bracket, which includes Natick, Parkway, Canton, and Reading.  The semifinals and finals are on Sunday.

The Bantams were the only AHC Intercity team to qualify for the State Tournament this year.  For the 2010 players on the Arlington team, this is their fourth consecutive trip to the State Tournament, where they'll try to defend their last two consecutive State Championships.
